Submission:
--Pictures should be emailed to info@specialproductionsny.com between
Friday, November 4th and Friday, November 11th.
Photos will not be accepted via any
other means, e.g. mail or fax.
--The subject of the email should read: NAME OF ENTRANT, AGE OF ENTRANT,
CITY, STATE, PHOTO TITLE.
--Entrants must copy the following onto the email and ‘sign’ by adding their
full name below
“I am over the age of eighteen and have read the competition rules posted on
www.specialproductionsny.com as of Friday, November 4th, 2005 and
accept and agree to abide by them and the decisions of Special Productions
NY which shall be final and binding in all respects.”
--The maximum dimensions of each image must be 1024 x 768 pixels, in TIFF or
JPEG format
Rules:
- Acceptance of Rules: By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be
bound by these rules and the decisions of Special Productions NY which shall
be final and binding in all respects.
- Employees of Special Productions are eligible (because, really, all
you get is your stinky old photo posted on our site--and if it's good, it's
good).
- No more than three photographs are allowed per entrant.
- No responsibility is accepted for incomplete entries due to server error,
email provider malfunctions or other causes beyond our control.
- Winning entries will be chosen by our panel of "judges". We use this term
loosely, so should you.
- The photographer guarantees that (s)he is the sole owner of the work and
that the work does not infringe any copyright, violate any other property
rights, contain any scandalous, libelous, or unlawful matter, or make any
improper invasion to the privacy of any person; that the work has not as a
whole heretofore been published; that (s)he is the sole and exclusive owner
of the rights.
- All entrants agree that their name and images can be displayed on Special
Productions NY's website and in Special Productions marketing and
advertising without charge. By entering the competition and signing the
waiver form you have confirmed this authorization. Images will not be
displayed in any other way without the permission of the artist, and all
entrants retain copyright for all images submitted.
- Entries become the property of Special Productions NY and will not be
returned.
- Winners will be notified by email within 45 days of the end of the
competition and announced on the Special Productions NY's website.
Winners’ details and images will be
posted on Special Production NY's website within 60 days of the end of
the competition.
